Neuralink, co-founded by Elon Musk, achieved a groundbreaking milestone by successfully implanting its first brain chip into a human, advancing the field of brain-computer interfaces (BCIs). This breakthrough holds immense potential for medical treatment and human enhancement. The primary focus of Neuralink's brain chip is to tackle neurological conditions like epilepsy, Parkinson's disease, and spinal cord injuries. Through recording and stimulating brain activity, the Link, as it's called, may provide innovative treatment possibilities for individuals affected by these conditions. This achievement signifies a significant stride towards revolutionizing medical interventions and enhancing human capabilities.

Scientists have identified a new species of tiny lizards in the biodiverse forests of the Western Ghats, naming them "diminutive dragons" or Agasthyagama edge. Belonging to the Agamidae family, these lizards are characterized by their small size, with a maximum snout-vent length of 4.3 cm. This discovery marks the second species in the Agasthyagama genus, with the first being A. beddomii found in the Sivagiri hills of Tamil Nadu. The collaborative research team from various institutions in India and abroad made this finding in the southern Western Ghats at Kulamavu in Idukki.
