Syllabus and Exam Pattern


Selection Process:-

Selection shall be purely based on merit and percentage of total marks obtained in High School, Intermediate along with theory and practical of all years of B.Sc. (Nursing) /Post Basic B.Sc. (Nursing) Examination and COVID Experience weightage ( 85 marks for obtained in High School, Intermediate, all Years of Integrated CCHN B.Sc. Nursing/PB B.Sc. Nursing and 15 marks for Covid experience).

Weightage of Marks for Merit (Out of 85):-

  1. For 10th: 17%
  2. For 12th: 17%
  3. For aggregate of integrated CCHN B.Sc. /PB B.Sc. Nursing: 51%

Sample for calculation of CGPA of CBSE Board:-

Calculation for Weightage (17%)
72.2 * 17/100 = 12.27

Note:-

In case there is no formula for the calculation of the percentage given in the mark sheet and the Marks Range is given to determine the percentage, the average of the range shall be taken for the calculation. For example: If 80%-90% marks range is given for A+ Grade, the percentage shall be calculated on the average i.e. 85%.

COVID Experience weightage criteria:-

The candidate engaged for COVID Management as outsourced/temporary HR/ contractual and worked at Public Health facilities and/or worked for Management of COVID through administration under the Department of Medical Health and Medical Education in Uttar Pradesh will be given additional marks as per follows: -

1. 05 Marks - who completed six months (cumulative) of active engagement.

2. 10 Marks - who completed One year (cumulative) of active engagement.

3. 15 Marks - who completed One year and six months (cumulative) of active engagement.
